Primary testing for all NJMAA schools will be held on Sunday, October 13th at Montgomery Upper Middle School (375 Burnt Hill Rd., Skillman, NJ 08558)There will be NO REGULAR CLASSES on this day due to mandatory instructor presence at this event.

Note: Testing and rank ceremony times are for your CURRENT RANK, not the rank you are testing to become! Students should try to arrive 15 min early for their testing.

Black belt testing application

All students must turn in the appropriate TESTING APPLICATION by June 8th! Study belt information for your current belt rank (available under the “Belt Info” tab). Students must meet the minimum class requirement and earn all stripes before being eligible to test.

SPARRING EQUIPMENT: All Sr. Yellow Belts must also turn in a Sparring Equipment order form by September 25th. All sparring gear must be ordered through Kickside Martial Arts.

BLACK BELT PACK: All Black Belt Candidates that want a HW uniform, black gear and weapons must turn in a Black Belt Pack order form by September 25th.

BOARD BREAKING: Brown Belts and above must supply their own boards for testing. It is recommended that you bring extra boards in case one breaks during set-up. Breaks must be approved prior to test and written in on testing application. Last day to order boards is September 25th

Due to the number of students who are between ranks the week after testing, we will be following a revised schedule for the week of October 14th.
