Testing Procedures:

A list of eligible students for this testing will be posted in the lobby. Please find your/your child’s name on the list and fill out a testing application. Brown belts and above must list their board breaks at the bottom (and get those breaks approved by an instructor). If you need a different belt size than the one listed on the testing list, please let us know!

Students are required to know their belt information, earn necessary stripes, and attend the required minimum number of classes for their level. Please visit the belt info page for a list of all this information.

Make-up testings are available the Tuesday after testing. Cost is $25.

Sparring Gear and Black Belt Packs: Order on the KickShop (Hills | Mont)
All Sr. Yellow Belts and any other ranks who need replacement items must order sparring gear through Kickside Martial Arts — available on the KickShop. Due to minimum order requirements, students who miss the ordering deadline of February 17th need to wait until June to receive gear.

Sr. Red, Black Belts who need black gear or weapons may order through the KickShop. Discount pricing will apply for students who order prior to their testing date. To avoid additional shipping fees, students may wait until the next group order is placed for June testing.

BOARD BREAKING: Brown Belts and above must supply their own boards for testing. It is recommended that you bring extra boards in case one breaks during set-up. Breaks must be approved prior to test and written in on student’s testing application. You may purchase bundles of 25 through our KickShop. See board breaking page for more information.

We will follow a revised schedule of classes for the week after testing.
