Sr. Red Belts must have 40 class credits and successfully demonstrate 90% of the forms to earn their first, eligibility stripe. The eligibility stripe is earned one testing cycle ahead of a student’s black belt testing. Eligible candidates for February testing will already have this stripe. There is also a 2-week and 2-day review. Sr. Red belts should attend all 3 reviews if testing in February, or until they receive their first stripe if testing in June or later.
