Breaking Week: October 6-10, 2025

October 6, 2025 - October 10, 2025

Green belts and up (all ranks Adult/Teen class) will be breaking boards in classes October 6 – 10th. Board breaking allows students to expand their training by testing techniques on a simulated opponent. The theory being that good technique will break a board. 

Boards may be ordered through Kickside in bundles of 25 through the KickShop and delivered to the corresponding location on the first day of breaking week. Details on sizes, grain direction and other breaking tips are available on the board breaking page. (Little Kickers and White-Sr. Yellow Belts may order 1/2″ boards in bundles of 3)

Note: Brown belts and above will need to bring boards for breaking at their testings. Please factor this in when buying boards.

**Do not put boards in your gear bag because they will damage it. Instead, bring them in a less expensive shopping bag**

WINTER WEATHER - REVISED SCHEDULE:
Monday, January 26
Due to last night's snow and dropping temperatures later today, road conditions are expected to become icy and potentially unsafe. The safety of our students, families, and staff is always our top priority. To help everyone avoid dangerous travel, we will be running a revised schedule at all locations, with classes moved earlier in the day before temperatures drop.

Please make every effort to pre-order enough boards for breaking week and testing. While a limited supply of stock boards is generally available, we cannot guarantee all sizes will be available.

GEAR ORDERS FOR SR. YELLOW & SR.a RED BELTS:
Gear must be ordered for students testing for Green Belt, and Black Belt. Black belts may also purchase heavy-weight embroidered tops, HW pants, and weapons. Deadline to get gear in time to train after rank promotion is February 11th. Order in the KickShop, choose your location.
