Competitive Edge Seminar at Hillsborough

What will be taught:
Tournament Style forms: This seminar will take the form you currently know and give you the
knowledge to convert it to become a form the judges will throw big scores at.
Creative Style Forms: In Open Tournaments there is a division called “Creative” this allows the
competitor to take some creative freedom with his/her form and have a chance to really show off
your stuff.
Judges Presentation: At National and International tournaments most events require the presentation
of the competitor to the judges. This is a big part of the scoring process for the competitor.
Advanced Kicking Drills: The building blocks to make it into the Extreme divisions are advanced
kicking! All participants will learn some of the building blocks to exciting kicks such as the 540 kick
and 360 kicks.

Due to last night's snow and dropping temperatures later today, road conditions are expected to become icy and potentially unsafe. The safety of our students, families, and staff is always our top priority. To help everyone avoid dangerous travel, we will be running a revised schedule at all locations, with classes moved earlier in the day before temperatures drop.

Please make every effort to pre-order enough boards for breaking week and testing. While a limited supply of stock boards is generally available, we cannot guarantee all sizes will be available.

GEAR ORDERS FOR SR. YELLOW & SR.a RED BELTS:
Gear must be ordered for students testing for Green Belt, and Black Belt. Black belts may also purchase heavy-weight embroidered tops, HW pants, and weapons. Deadline to get gear in time to train after rank promotion is February 11th. Order in the KickShop, choose your location.
