Primary Testing — February 11th at Hunterdon Central Regional H.S. (Field House)
February 11, 2018
Primary testing for all NJMAA schools will be held on Sunday, February 11th at Hunterdon Central Regional High School (Field House)
(84 NJ-31, Flemington, NJ 08822 — Turn at Junction Road **(You will pass one entrance to the high school on your right (with signboard), prior to coming to the East Main/Junction Road turn.) Turn right at this light. Make a right at the 2nd entrance into school parking lot. Look for “Field House.”**
Note: Testing and rank ceremony times are for your CURRENT RANK, not the rank you are testing to become! Students should arrive 15 min early for their testing.

A list of eligible students for this testing will be posted in the lobby. Please find your/your child’s name on the list and fill out a testing application. Brown belts and above need to list their board breaks at the bottom (and get those breaks approved by an instructor when turning in the application). If you need a different belt size than the one listed, please let us know.
Students are required to know their belt information, achieve necessary stripes, and attend the required number of classes for their level. Please visit the belt info page for a list of all this information.
SPARRING EQUIPMENT ORDER FORM
All Sr. Yellow Belts must also turn in a Sparring Equipment order form by January 20th. All sparring gear must be ordered through Kickside Martial Arts.
BLACK BELT PACK
All Black Belt Candidates that want an embroidered heavy-weight uniform, black gear and weapons must turn in a Black Belt Pack order form by January 11th.
BOARD BREAKING: Brown Belts and above must supply their own boards for testing. It is recommended that you bring extra boards in case one breaks during set-up. Breaks must be approved prior to test and written in on student’s testing application. See board breaking page for more information.
Due to the number of students who are between ranks the week after testing, we will be following a revised schedule for the week of February 12-16th.

WINTER WEATHER - REVISED SCHEDULE:

Due to last night's snow and dropping temperatures later today, road conditions are expected to become icy and potentially unsafe. The safety of our students, families, and staff is always our top priority. To help everyone avoid dangerous travel, we will be running a revised schedule at all locations, with classes moved earlier in the day before temperatures drop.

Please make every effort to pre-order enough boards for breaking week and testing. While a limited supply of stock boards is generally available, we cannot guarantee all sizes will be available.

GEAR ORDERS FOR SR. YELLOW & SR.a RED BELTS:
Gear must be ordered for students testing for Green Belt, and Black Belt. Black belts may also purchase heavy-weight embroidered tops, HW pants, and weapons. Deadline to get gear in time to train after rank promotion is February 11th. Order in the KickShop, choose your location.
