NJMAA Primary Testing – Feb 9th at North Hunterdon HS

Primary testing for all NJMAA schools will be held on Saturday, February 9th at North Hunterdon High School (1445 NJ-31, Annandale, NJ 08801)
Note: We are using 2 separate gyms for this testing, the Main Gym and the Boys Gym. These are the same two from tournaments. Follow signs at the event for help locating your gymnasium. There WILL BE regular classes on this day.
Note: Testing and rank ceremony times are for your CURRENT RANK, not the rank you are testing to become! Students should arrive 15 min early for their testing.

A list of eligible students for this testing will be posted in the lobby. Please find your/your child’s name on the list and fill out a testing application. Brown belts and above need to list their board breaks at the bottom (and get those breaks approved by an instructor when turning in the application). If you need a different belt size than the one listed, please let us know.
Students are required to know their belt information, achieve necessary stripes, and attend the required number of classes for their level. Please visit the belt info page for a list of all this information.
SPARRING EQUIPMENT ORDER FORM
All Sr. Yellow Belts must also turn in a Sparring Equipment order form by January 24th. All sparring gear must be ordered through Kickside Martial Arts.
BLACK BELT PACK
All Black Belt Candidates that want an embroidered heavy-weight uniform, black gear and weapons must turn in a Black Belt Pack order form by January 10th.
BOARD BREAKING: Brown Belts and above must supply their own boards for testing. It is recommended that you bring extra boards in case one breaks during set-up. Breaks must be approved prior to test and written in on student’s testing application. See board breaking page for more information.
Due to the number of students who are between ranks the week after testing, we will be following a revised schedule for the week of February 11th.
