SUMMARY:Breaking Week: February 10-15
DESCRIPTION:Green belts and up (all ranks Adult/Teen class) will be breaking boards in classes February 10 – 15th. Board breaking allows students to expand their training by testing techniques on a simulated opponent. The theory being\, good technique will break a board.  \nBoards may be ordered through Kickside in bundles of 25 through the KickShop and delivered to the corresponding location on the first day of breaking week. Details on sizes\, grain direction and other breaking tips are available on the board breaking page. \nNote: Brown belts and above will need to bring boards for breaking at the October testing. Please factor this in when buying boards. \n**Do not put boards in your gear bag because they will damage it. Instead\, bring them in a less expensive shopping bag**

SUMMARY:Primary Belt Testing – February 22 at Montgomery
DESCRIPTION:Primary testing for all Kickside schools will be held Saturday\, February 22nd. There will be no classes on this day. \nLocation: Kickside of Montgomery/Princeton (1225 State Rd\, Princeton\, NJ) \n\n\n\nTesting Group\nStart Time\n\n\nWhite – Sr. Blue Belts\n9:00 AM\n\n\nBrown – Red\n10:00 AM\n\n\nAdults and Teens (Ranks White – Red)\n10:30 AM\n\n\nBlack Belts & Sr. Red Belts/Candidates\n11:00 AM\n\n\n\nTesting times and applications are for your current rank\, not the new one. \nColored belt testing application (for White – Sr. Red)\nBlack belt testing application (for all Black Belt ranks) \nTesting Procedures: \n\nA list of eligible students for this testing will be posted in the lobby. Please check for your/your child’s name on the list BEFORE filling out a testing application.\nBrown belts and above must get their board breaks approved by an instructor\, then list them at the bottom of their testing application.\nIf you need a different belt size than the one listed on the testing list\, please let us know!\n\nStudents are required to know their belt information\, earn necessary stripes\, and attend the required minimum number of classes for their level. Please visit the belt info page for a list of all this information. \nMake-up testings are available the Tuesday after testing. Cost is $25. Private make-up testings available at private lesson fees\, and only as schedule allows. \nSparring Gear and Black Belt Packs: Order on the KickShop  \nSr. Yellow Belts and any other students who need replacement sparring gear items MUST order through the Kickside Martial Arts KickShop. Due to minimum order requirements\, students who miss the ordering deadline of February 15th need to wait until June testing to receive their gear order.  \nSr. Red and Black Belts who need black gear packs\, upgraded heavy-weight embroidered uniform\, and weapons should also order through the KickShop. Additional fees may apply for any rush orders\, or students may need to wait until the next group order is placed for June testing in order to avoid rush fees.  \nBOARD BREAKING: Brown Belts and above must supply their own boards for testing. It is recommended that you bring extra boards in case one breaks accidentally during a practice or set-up. Breaks must be approved prior to testing and written in on the student’s testing application. You may purchase bundles of 25 through our KickShop. See board breaking page for more information. \nMomentum Week will take place the week following testing. Special events and schedule changes will be posted in the school. Students are also encouraged to bring a friend or family member in for a fun class! \nRank ceremonies will take on February 28 at Kickside of Hillsborough\nNo regular classes on that day at all locations.
