DESCRIPTION:1225 State Rd\, Princeton\, NJ\n \nSr. Red Belt testing guidelines/requirements are available here\n \nSr. Red Belts must have 40 class credits and successfully demonstrate 90% of the forms to earn their first\, eligibility stripe. The eligibility stripe is earned one testing cycle ahead of a student’s black belt testing. Candidates for June testing will already have this stripe. There is also a 2-day (6/17) review. Sr. Red belts should attend all 3 reviews if testing in June\, or until they receive their first stripe if testing in Oct or Feb.\n \nBlack Belt Pack orders must be turned in no later than May 28th\, in order to receive items by rank ceremony. A delay in ordering will mean a delay in receiving items. We will not place another group order until September.

DESCRIPTION:Primary testing for all NJMAA schools will be held outdoors on the lawn out front of the Kickside Montgomery location. In the event of inclement weather\, we will rotate indoors.\nThere will be no Zoom classes on 6/19 due to instructor presence at testing. \nLocation: Kickside of Montgomery (1225 State Rd\, Princeton\, NJ) \nTESTING TIMES \n\n\n\nTesting Group\nStart Time\n\n\nSr. Red/2nd Dan Black Belt Candidates\n7:30 am\n\n\nProbationary and Decided Black Belts\n8:00 am\n\n\nBrown – Red Belts \n11:00 am\n\n\nWhite – Sr. Blue Belts\n12:00 pm\n\n\n\nTesting times and applications are for your current rank\, not the new one. \nColored belt testing application (for White – Sr. Red Belts)\nBlack belt testing application (for all Black Belt ranks) \nTesting Procedures/Precautions: \n\nGreen belts and above must bring sparring gear to the test\nBrown belts and above must bring boards for breaking\, and get breaks approved by their chief instructor prior to the test.\nIf we believe health is compromised in any way\, student will be excused from test\n\nA list of eligible students for this testing will be posted in the lobby and shared on Zoom. Please find your/your child’s name on the list and fill out a testing application. Brown belts and above need to list their board breaks at the bottom (and get those breaks approved by an instructor when turning in the application). If you need a different belt size than the one listed\, please let us know ASAP. \nStudents are required to know their belt information\, earn necessary stripes\, and attend the required minimum number of classes for their level. Please visit the belt info page for a list of all this information. \nMake-up\, semi-private (max 3 students) and private testings available (Costs: ($25\, $35\, and $50 respectively). Contact us to schedule. \nSPARRING EQUIPMENT ORDER FORM\nAll Sr. Yellow Belts must also turn in a Sparring Equipment order form by June 4th. All sparring gear must be ordered through Kickside Martial Arts. Due to minimum order requirements\, students who miss the ordering deadline may need to wait until October to receive gear that we do not already have in stock. \nBLACK BELT PACK: (embroidered heavy-weight uniform\, black gear\, bag and weapons) \nSave 20% on black belt pack orders completed before Primary Testing (due date June 3rd). Due to required order minimums with our vendors\, we are unable to extend discounts for single orders that come after this deadline. Regular pricing will apply for students who order after their testing date. To avoid additional shipping fees\, students may wait until the next group order is placed on or around September 15th.  \nBOARD BREAKING: Brown Belts and above must supply their own boards for testing. It is recommended that you bring extra boards in case one breaks during set-up. Breaks must be approved prior to test and written in on student’s testing application. You may purchase bundles of 25 through our KickShop. See board breaking page for more information. \nFor the week following testing\, we will run fun and technique-based classes which will not count for credit while students are between ranks. We will offer make-up testings as well. Rank Promotion Ceremony will be held on Thursday\, June 24th at Kickside of Hillsborough.

DESCRIPTION:We will host belt promotion ceremonies at the Kickside Hillsborough location on June 24th. In order to make this a special experience for all\, students should “dress to impress.” We will offer photos with the instructors after each ceremony\, time permitting. \n\n\n\nRank\nTime\n\n\n\nWhite – Sr. Blue Belt juniors\n\n5:30 pm\n\n\nBrown – Red Belt juniors\n6:00 pm\n\n\nSr. Red\, Black Belts juniors\nAll Ranks teens/adults\n6:30 pm\n\n\n\nStudents who can not make the ceremony may pick up their belts during regular class times.
